mortal instruments, angel academy; clary & jace. the very start of chapter two.

The sun broke through the blinds, seeping it's way behind her eyelids. Stretching loudly with a loud groan of annoyance, Clary awoke. She had had the most amazing dream, wondering where in her mind the creativity for that had come from. Something about her family being demon hunters, her brother going off to a school in... Idris? Or, that's what she thought it was called. She thought that the idea was odd in the least, and decided that it would probably be better not to dwell on it. It was only a dream, right?

A sharp knock on her door pulled her out of her revisions and back into reality.

"Clary? You up?" The muffled voice of her step father came surrounded her.

"You can come in, if that's what you're asking," Clary replied wearily. I really shouldn't have stayed up so late, she told herself. What was I doing to be up at that time, anyway? Wracking her brain for an answer, she found she couldn't remember. She blamed her faulty brain on waking up early as Luke opened her bedroom door and stepped in.

"I brought coffee," he gestured to the steaming mug in his hand with a nod and passed it to her.

Clary quickly gulped down a mouthful, feeling the coffee warming her and flicking the 'on' switch in her brain. "Have I mentioned I love you, Luke? I really, really do."

Luke smiled softly down at her as he spoke, "I know." Changing the topic, he moved onto another that left Clary feeling clueless. She really had no idea what he was saying.

"Are you ready for today? We can bring Sebastian, too. He's met most of them already." This left her completely confused. Even with her usual morning brain off, nothing clicked.

harry potter; draco x ginny ; camp chaos & all things "C" - part one.

Ginny heaved her bags down the stairs, wishing that her brothers hadn't scattered when she had asked them for help. Or that they had at least had the decensy to shrink it for easy carrying. It wasn't her fault that the attire for the Sunshine State of Down Under, as her mum's best friend called it, was shorts and singlets - both revealing to what her brothers were used to her wearing at home - as you would otherwise get too hot. It also wasn't her fault that her already massive suitcase had needed a undetectable extension charm or two on it, courtesy of Hermione, as she couldn't wash her clothes where she was headed. Ginny couldn't wait to breathe in the familiar fresh, crisp air of the country, or to see her friends on the other side of the world. Pulling her suitcase through the comfortably cramped lounge room, she narrowly avoided knocking over stacks of Fred and George's newest inventions, which had yet to be finished. Letting out a grunt of annoyance, she reached the kitchen.

Leaving the suitcase in the doorway, Ginny collapsed into a nearby chair. She looked up in time to see her mum's eyes filling with tears. She wrenched her daughter up and embraced tightly. "Mum...," she started to speak.

"Oh, my baby... off to this camp, again, but as a leader! I'm so proud of you, darling, but does it have to be for so long?" Molly cried.

Ginny sighed sadly and patted her mother's shoulder comfortingly, remembering the same thing happening last year... and the year before that... and the year before that... "Mum, you've been saying the same thing for the last five summers. I'm 16, I'll be ok. Don't you trust Charmaine to take care of me? She's one of your best friends and you've known her since you were five. I'll have Luna with me, anyway, it's only 2 weeks. Last time I checked, school is a lot longer than that."

She sighed in defeat and loosened her arms. "I guess you are right, darling. I am just probably overreacting." She bustled over to the stove where she had been chopping up food for lunch. "I do wish your father would make his way here, already. Where is he? He's going to miss the portkey over to the Lovegood's, at this rate!"

Ginny laughed lightly; she knew her mother well enough to know that she was trying to distract herself from getting upset, again.

"I'm sure he's fine, Mum, he's just taking his time."

Molly Weasley frowned over at her. "Are you sure you don't want any lollies while you're there? I know you like to have some of those muggle sweets, but I'm sure you and Luna can always sneak some proper sweets in without the others noticing. Some Fizzing Whizbees, perhaps? Sugar Quills?"

"Mum."

"Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans? Oh, I might be able to whip you up some pumpkin pasties, you've always loved those. Or maybe some Chocolate Frogs or -"

Ginny abruptly cut off her mother. "Mum!"

"Sorry, Dear."
_______________________________________

The first of many installments. ;) I started writing this is September and I haven't been bothered to finish typing up the chapter... I have the other half of this done, but I would have been hanging off awkwardly if I posted it now. I can't post this separately on FF now, because I have a pet peeve of people posting stories under 1000 words for a chapter. This is under a 1000.
I hope you liked it!

introductions.

I'm Gabriella. (; You stumbled upon my blog dedicated to my writing. I probably won't update anywhere near as often as two love birdies. but I'll still try to regularly. Also, if you want to know more about me, hit up two love birdies. This will end up being filled with one shots, chapters and most regularly the first chapter of an unfinished story.

Posts on here will most likely be Harry Potter or Mortal Instruments (City of: Bones, Ashes or Glass) series and with the pairings of Draco Malfoy x Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood x Blaise Zabini for Harry Potter or Jace Wayland x Clary Fray for Mortal Instruments.

My fanfiction.net page is emeraldgoldchocolate so feel free to check it out on there, as well.

Ciao!
